Nice color and comes with the base!,
I bought this seat for my new baby after i gave away my old maxi-cosi cabrio thinking that i’ll never use it again.
we were happy with our first maxi-cosi so we decided to get the same product this time.
While we where waiting for our seat to be delivered from amazon, my wife saw the base for the car on sale at Toys r’ Us and bought it. We were happy with the purchase.
When we received the seat we were really happy with the color, the head rest and all the rest, but even more when we saw that this seat comes with the base! so we went back and returned the base we have bought and got a back a few dollares!.

|Love the fabrics, color, and comfy for baby. BIG base,
I paid for this seat because my first infant seat (for my now 6.5yo) was made by Maxi-Cosi, and from what I could tell, none of the other brands compare, in terms of making a safe seat that is lightweight to carry with beautiful fabrics that are comfortable for your baby!
This seat does come with a base, which you have to search to product description carefully to discover! The fabric is beautiful, soft, and available in a wide array of colors. The seat is highly rated for safety, and it attaches to the base securely and easily, with your infant reclined at a nice angle (no head tipping forward uncomfortably). I quite like the shape of the carrying handle, the window shade works well, and the straps adjust without any trouble for me.
This seat works for babies up to 29″ tall, but the weight limit is only 22lbs. Personally I don’t like to carry a child heavier than that in an infant car seat, but if you tend to have heavier babies this might be a problem. I think it is perfect for tall, thin babies.
This is not a compact infant seat – and the base is also quite long. Not a problem in my minivan (and is a key ingredient in the comfy recline the seat offers for the baby), but may be a problem if you have a more compact car.

|GREAT QUINNY COMPANION,
I have the Quinny stroller and the Maxi-Cosi car seat works amazing with it! I just pop it on, and pop it off with the press of a button. And less important, but nice, is it matches the stroller design really nicely. The graphics are modern and simple. So many car seats were just ugly looking!!! I had a Chicco before this which my son screamed his head off in constantly and for some reason he doesn’t do that anywhere near as much in the Maxi-Cosi. Way less crying!!! His posture is more upright in this one than in the Chicco, like in more of a sitting position and I think that suits him better. Probably better for him too. It’s also a lot lighter than the Chicco. And, when your kid is gaining a few pounds every month, the lighter, the better. It was also really easy to install. My husband did it in minutes flat.

|No problem! The Baby Jogger City Elite is fantastic by the way. I’ve taken in over snow, sand, rocks, dirt, whatever, you just go. Curbs are easier because of the large wheel size, stairs are manageable. If you don’t have to take it on a subway or a bus a lot, I say go with this one instead of the smaller City Mini. This is more expensive but worth it.
Thank you for posting this!
21 weeks preggo with our first, and stroller shopping is stressing me out. Am very curious about this unit (it’s one of the few models that accommodates my 6’5″ husband’s giant stride well) but I wanted to see it in action with the car seat adapter. Thanks Dave!
